It’s been an eventful month for Luke Sorensen, a fast-rising tight end from Servite High School in Anaheim, California. The three-star prospect has received new scholarship offers from Florida, Michigan State, and Missouri, giving him a strong set of options as the new year approaches. With six schools now extending offers, Sorensen is starting to evaluate his next steps in the recruiting process.
Heading into the 2024-2025 college basketball season, several of the nation’s top programs had high expectations. However, as the season reaches its midpoint, it’s becoming clear that many of these teams have underperformed. When Mike Woodson took over as Indiana’s head coach in 2021, replacing Archie Miller, his mission was straightforward: restore the program’s national prominence, as the Hoosiers haven’t won an NCAA championship since 1987. Hopes were high at the start of the season, with Indiana ranked No. 17 in the AP preseason poll and projected to finish second in a competitive Big Ten conference.
Despite a record that isn’t disastrous on paper, the Hoosiers have hit a rough patch, suffering back-to-back losses and enduring three blowout defeats against Iowa, Illinois, and Nebraska.
