Montreal Canadiens fans have always had a deep appreciation for Marc-André Fleury, which was evident last Thursday at the Bell Centre.
Over the years, there have been rumors linking Fleury to the Canadiens, but did he ever come close to joining the team?
His agent addressed this question in a live interview with journalist Renaud Lavoie on TVA Sports.

“At any point in Marc-André’s career, did you think he would play for the Montreal Canadiens?”
His agent responded:
“Yes, there were a few moments when we thought it might happen. There were discussions, but the timing never quite worked out. For much of Marc-André’s career, the Canadiens had Carey Price, an incredible goalie and future Hall of Famer. It just never came together.”
