The New Orleans Saints recently lost offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak to the Seattle Seahawks. Kubiak was permitted to interview for the role, as the Saints are expected to take a different approach with their next head coach.
Now, another young assistant could follow him to Seattle. The Seahawks have shown interest in Andrew Janocko for their quarterbacks coach position under Kubiak.
The Saints granted Seattle permission to interview Janocko for the role, as reports indicate that Charles London, the Seahawks’ 2024 quarterbacks coach, is heading to the New York Jets for the same position.
With London departing, the Seahawks have an opening at QB coach, making Janocko a logical candidate given his experience working alongside Kubiak.
If Janocko leaves, it will create another vacancy on the Saints’ staff, which could be reshaped under their expected new head coach, Kellen Moore. Reports suggest Moore has already begun reaching out to potential assistants for his staff.
Regardless, the Saints will likely have a new quarterbacks coach in 2025, as Janocko remains a strong contender for the Seattle job or other opportunities around the league.
