Harrisburg, Pennsylvania linebacker Angel Luciano is the latest 2026 prospect to lock in an official visit with Minnesota, set to attend the Gophers’ ‘Summer Splash’ recruiting event from May 30 to June 1.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, Luciano has quickly emerged in the 2026 recruiting class. While he remains unranked by most recruiting services, he holds key offers from Michigan State, Virginia Tech, and Maryland, among others.
Michigan State was the first to extend an offer on January 3, followed by Minnesota on January 28. Currently, the Spartans are the only other program he has scheduled an official visit with.
Luciano possesses impressive size for a player coming off his junior season at Steelton-Highspire High School. A strong senior campaign could elevate his profile as a sought-after recruit in the 2026 class. He becomes the third linebacker to schedule an official visit with Minnesota this cycle, joining Pierce Petersohn and Duyon Forkpa Jr.
