The University of Pittsburgh men’s basketball team has officially lost another player to the transfer portal. On Monday, it was reported by Joe Tipton of On3 Sports that forward Guillermo Diaz Graham will transfer to the University of San Francisco for the 2025–26 season. Guillermo and his twin brother, Jorge Diaz Graham, both entered the portal following the conclusion of last season. Pittsburgh finished the year with a 17–15 overall record and an 8–12 mark in the ACC, missing the NCAA tournament for the seventh time in the past eight years.
While Guillermo has committed to San Francisco, Jorge has yet to announce where he’ll play next. Both brothers still have one year of eligibility remaining.
Guillermo played three seasons at Pitt, with his most productive year coming last season. He appeared in all 32 games and averaged over 23 minutes per contest, putting up 6.2 points, 5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and nearly a block per game. He shot 45.5% from the field, 34.1% from three-point range, and 67.6% from the free-throw line. His 64.7% two-point shooting percentage led the team.
San Francisco, a member of the West Coast Conference, last reached the NCAA tournament in 2022, ending a long drought dating back to 1998. The Dons finished this past season with a 25–10 record, going 13–5 in conference play and reaching the second round of the NIT, where they fell to Loyola Chicago.
Guillermo is the second Panther to officially depart through the portal, joining guard Jaland Lowe, who transferred to Kentucky. Jorge Diaz Graham, Marlon Barnes Jr., and Papa Amadou Kante also entered the portal but haven’t yet announced their new schools. Pitt, meanwhile, has added four transfers: guard Damarco Minor (Oregon State), center Dishon Jackson (Iowa State), forward Nojus Indrusaitis, and swingman Barry Dunning Jr. (South Alabama).
