Northamptonshire fought back in their second innings, rallying from 49 for 3 to post 304, with notable contributions from Saif Zaib (71), Lewis McManus (66), and Luke Procter (56). However, their resistance only postponed Glamorgan’s inevitable triumph, as the hosts were left needing just 66 runs late on day three.
Although Glamorgan lost two quick wickets to Ben Sanderson, Sam Northeast and Asa Tribe steered them home, closing on 66 for 2. Asitha Fernando was instrumental with the ball, claiming two three-wicket hauls in the match.
