Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche have both earned spots on the 2024–25 NHL First All-Star Team .
Cale Makar
At 26 years old, Makar lands his third career First-Team selection. After claiming his second Norris Trophy as the league’s best defenseman—earning a dominant 176 out of 191 first-place votes—he made history.
