Curtin has added three more years to his contract, keeping him at West Lakes through to his sixth season with the club.
The 20-year-old quickly established himself in Matthew Nicks’ lineup after debuting last year, playing all 14 games so far in 2025.
Originally from Western Australia, Curtin is staying in South Australia and is optimistic about what lies ahead.
“I’m really excited to commit for another three years,” Curtin said.
“I appreciate the coaches for showing faith in me this season, and I’m grateful to my teammates for their support both on and off the field.
We’ve got a great group here, and I’m eager to be part of what we’re building.”
Curtin is now just the third top-10 pick from the 2023 AFL Draft to re-sign with their club, joining a small group while others like Harley Reid, Colby McKercher, and Ryley Sanders remain on their original deals.
The Crows are thrilled to lock him in, with list manager Justin Reid praising his development.
“Like any young player, Dan is still honing his skills, but we’ve been really impressed with his flexibility, work ethic, and openness to feedback,” Reid said.
“He’s growing more confident at AFL level with each game, he’s making a real impact, and has earned the respect of teammates, coaches, and staff across the club.”
Curtin is expected to line up against Richmond at the MCG on Sunday, likely playing as a forward.
