Kieran Wright has signed a new one-year contract extension with Rangers, keeping him at the club as he enters his 10th year at Ibrox.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper joined Rangers in 2016 but has yet to feature for the first team. He spent the latter half of last season on loan at Airdrieonians, where he played a key role in helping the team avoid relegation from the Scottish Championship, making 24 appearances and featuring in their 2-1 play-off win over Cove Rangers.
A former Scotland under-21 international, Wright has previously had loan spells with several clubs, including Gala Fairydean Rovers, Albion Rovers, Raith Rovers, Alloa Athletic, Partick Thistle, Dumbarton, and Livingston.
Rangers confirmed the news in a statement, saying: “Kieran Wright has signed a one-year contract extension with the club and will continue into his 10th season with the Light Blues.”
