Wisła Kraków is preparing for another push to secure promotion to the PKO BP Ekstraklasa in the upcoming season. To aid in this effort, the club continues to strengthen its squad with new signings. So far, the White Star has brought in three new players on free transfers: Julius Ertlthaler, Julian Lelieveld, and Darijo Grujcic.
A fourth addition could be announced soon, with Ardit Nikaj set to undergo medical examinations in the coming days. If all goes according to plan, the Albanian will officially join the team shortly after. However, Wisła’s transfer activity isn’t stopping there.
According to Kamil Pawełczyk from Transfery Piłkarskie, the club is also exploring a move for Ervin Omić. This interest has been confirmed by Gazeta Krakowska. Yet, as Bartosz Karcz notes, signing the 22-year-old midfielder may prove challenging due to competition from other clubs.
Omić, a defensive midfielder, has received multiple offers and is drawing significant attention. Still, Wisła Kraków remains determined to secure his signature and is prepared to compete until the end.
Notably, Omić spent over three years in Juventus’ youth academy but never broke into the first team. He returned to Austria in 2022, joining Wolfsberger AC, where he featured in 24 Austrian Bundesliga matches last season, recording two goals and two assists.
