Nottingham Forest academy graduate has penned an initial two-year contract with Bradford City, which includes the option to extend for an additional year.
He netted seven goals and provided three assists in 37 League One matches for Crawley Town last season, despite the club’s relegation.
The 24-year-old will stay in League One following his switch to Bradford City, who secured a dramatic promotion from League Two on the final day of the campaign under manager Graham Alexander.
Reflecting on his new club, Swan said: “Everyone in football saw the incredible scenes on the final day – over 24,000 fans. Those are the kinds of atmospheres you dream of playing in. I’ve played at Valley Parade before and know how amazing the support is. I can’t wait to get started.”
Bantams boss Alexander added: “Bringing Will in strengthens our forward line significantly. He’s versatile across the front positions, links up well with teammates, and adds another goal threat to the squad.”
