After UEFA Sanctions, Roma Target O’Riley

Roma’s transfer activity has been restricted due to UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules. Earlier in July, the club was fined for breaching those regulations, but with the penalty now behind them, their transfer strategy appears to be gaining momentum.

O’Riley joined Brighton only last summer in a deal worth around €30 million. However, his debut season was disrupted by a major ankle injury suffered just minutes into his first game, limiting him to only 11 starts for the Seagulls during the 2024-25 season.
