BREAKING NEWS: AC Milan and Gent Star Agrees on Personal Terms as Theo Hernandez Replacement HERE WE GO

Theo Hernandez is set to join Al-Hilal this summer, where he’ll link up with Simone Inzaghi. The move was further confirmed yesterday, following Al-Hilal’s elimination from the Club World Cup by Fluminense.

At the end of June, Theo informed Milan’s management of his willingness to make the move, and the final details of the transfer have already been ironed out. As a result, Milan now faces the task of finding a new starting left-back.

Milan eyeing a young left-back

In his daily video update on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto provided an update on Milan’s transfer activities. He also introduced a new candidate being considered to replace Theo.

“We have an exclusive name to share with you here on YouTube, something both Fabrizio and I have looked into. It’s a profile Milan is seriously considering to fill Theo Hernandez’s role,” Moretto explained (via MilanNews).

“Milan’s target for that position is clearly a young player with the potential to become a top talent. We can confirm he’s on a shortlist of at least three names.

“There’s one clear favorite — we’ll try to share more about him soon — but another strong candidate is Archie Brown.

“He’s an English left-back, born in 2002, currently playing for Gent, with a contract that runs until June 2027. He’s impressed both at club level and with the national team, and insiders speak very highly of him. He’s seen as a player with significant potential.

“Whether Milan decides to make a move remains to be seen, but I can confirm Archie Brown is among the names being seriously evaluated as Theo’s possible successor.”
