Once again, it’s time to dive into the latest and most intriguing Premier League transfer whispers – kicking off with developments involving Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.
According to The Athletic, last season’s surprise outfit Forest are “weighing up a move” to bring back their former full-back Matty Cash. The Poland international left the City Ground for Villa in a £14m deal five years ago, and while his current club insist there’s been “no official contact,” Forest are believed to be circling.
The sticking point? His sizeable wages could make any deal tough for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side. On top of that, Villa are reportedly keen to extend his contract, which currently runs until 2027. As for how much Forest would be willing to pay – or when an offer might come – there’s no clear indication yet.

Tottenham circling Brentford’s skipper

Any move would be complicated, though – Collins is tied to Brentford until 2029, and the Bees are determined not to lose yet another core player after already parting with Bryan Mbeumo and Christian Nørgaard. Still, reports suggest Spurs are making contact soon, with Frank eager for a reunion.
