Leeds haven’t lost a league match at home in over a year, spanning 23 games. Farke noted, “In our last three matches this season, we’ve created plenty of chances, while our opponents have had few. Currently 12th with eight points from six games, Farke is pleased with his team’s performances but feels they’ve lacked some fortune. An own goal cost them at Fulham, and Farke was frustrated by a questionable free-kick decision that led to Bournemouth’s opening goal. He added, “At times, it feels like we deserve a bit more luck. But the team’s effort is outstanding, and I’m happy with our season so far. Against top teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, or Manchester City, you need everything to align, including a bit of luck, to get results.”
Leeds will miss winger Daniel James for several weeks due to an ankle injury, though the club confirmed it’s not a long-term issue.
