Bradford City: Antoni Sarcevic excited to sign Nick Powell to a huge contract deal and he send a shocking message to Bradford after the contract was sign

Bradford City have completed the signing of experienced midfielder Nick Powell following the mutual termination of his contract with Stockport County.

Powell, who has previously played for Manchester United, Wigan Athletic and Stoke City, joined County in the summer of 2023 and went on to feature 45 times, playing a key role in their promotion last season.

He becomes Bradford’s 10th addition of the summer as the club aims to strengthen its position in League One, having already collected seven points from their opening three matches.

“Nick’s quality is unquestionable and he’s eager to recapture the form he has shown throughout his career,” manager Graham Alexander told the club’s website. “This move works well for everyone, and we’re excited to help him enjoy his football again and demonstrate his ability.”

Powell said the club’s passionate support was a major factor in his decision: “The size of the crowds here is a huge attraction. Having such big attendances in League One is a big pull for any player.”

Bradford will face Stockport on Tuesday evening, with County confirming Powell’s departure was agreed amicably.
