On Tuesday afternoon, the Los Angeles Chargers announced they’ve signed offensive lineman. To make room on the roster, they waived offensive tackle, an undrafted free agent from the 2024 class.

Ellis, who stands 6’4” and weighs 336 pounds, began his college career at Baylor before transferring to Marshall for the 2024 season. While at Marshall, he started all 13 games at left tackle. During his three seasons at Baylor, he saw limited action, appearing in just nine games.
Ellis now enters a tackle group that includes Rashawn Slater, Joe Alt, and fellow 2025 undrafted rookies Corey Stewart and Savion Washington. Veteran lineman Trey Pipkins has filled in at tackle during OTAs while Slater recovers, though he’s primarily vying for a guard spot, leaving much of the tackle depth to first-year players.
