Plymouth Argyle have secured the signing of forward from German second-division club FC Magdeburg on a three-year contract.
The 24-year-old will officially join the Pilgrims on 1 July, once his current deal with Magdeburg comes to an end.
A former England Under-20 international, previously played in League One during a loan spell with Bolton in the 2021–22 season.
He becomes the first signing under new Plymouth manager Tom Cleverley, who was appointed just last week.
“Xavier is a fast, exciting winger who brings added competition to our attacking options,” Cleverley said via the club’s website. “He’s gained valuable experience playing in Germany and comes back to England as a more well-rounded player. At just 24, he still has plenty of potential to grow and develop.”
