Fourth-round draft pick Cam Skattebo officially signed his four-year rookie contract with the New York Giants on Wednesday, making him the final member of the team’s rookie class to ink a deal.
According to Over The Cap, Skattebo’s contract is valued at \$5.273 million, as outlined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. It includes a \$1.073 million signing bonus and will carry a \$1.108 million cap hit in 2025.
The 5-foot-11, 215-pound bruising running back is projected to split backfield duties with second-year player Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Skattebo has not taken part in practices since early in Organized Team Activities (OTAs). He was spotted stretching with the team during mandatory minicamp on Tuesday and Wednesday but didn’t take part in individual or team drills.
A standout at Arizona State, Skattebo emphasized during rookie minicamp that he’s fully aware of the challenge ahead.
“You’ve seen me play zero NFL snaps, right? I haven’t proven anything yet,” he said. “I showed who I was in college, but that means nothing now. At this level, I’ve got to earn everything. Whether it takes five years or ten, I’m going to keep proving myself — to be the best, to last the longest. That means working my tail off until my time comes.”
