Boise State has secured its quarterback for the 2026 recruiting class. A five-star prospect from Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, California, announced his commitment to the Broncos over the weekend during a campus visit.
He becomes the fourth commitment for Boise State in this recruiting cycle.
Meanwhile, USC added a key piece to its 2025-26 roster on Tuesday with the commitment of Maryland transfer Rodney Rice. The former Virginia Tech and Maryland guard will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Currently ranked No. 25 in the 2025 transfer portal, Rice is expected to see time at point guard for the Trojans, according to Jeff Ermann of Inside Maryland Sports.
Last season at Maryland, Rice averaged 13.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game, while shooting 43.4% from the field and 37.4% from beyond the arc.
Rice entered the transfer portal following the departure of Maryland head coach Kevin Willard to Villanova. According to Ermann, following Willard to the Wildcats was never seriously considered, and new Maryland head coach Buzz Williams did not make an effort to bring Rice back.
