Texas A&M added 14 players through the transfer portal this offseason, including former five-star wide receiver Micah Hudson. After spending one season at Texas Tech, Hudson transferred to the Aggies late last month, emerging as one of their most notable acquisitions.
However, the excitement was short-lived. The sophomore wideout reportedly left the program for personal reasons, though head coach Mike Elko and his staff have kept a roster spot open for him should he decide to return.
According to Texas Tech insider Chris Level, Hudson’s return to Lubbock can’t be ruled out, with mutual interest confirmed within the Texas Tech football community.
Hudson, who battled a knee injury during his lone season at Texas Tech, finished the year with eight catches for 123 yards. His potential departure from Texas A&M remains a developing story, as the talented pass-catcher has yet to make a final decision. For now, his next move is uncertain, leaving fans in a wait-and-see scenario.
