BREAKING NEWS: Leicester Tigers sign off a record-breaking season

Bath Rugby, last season’s Gallagher Premiership runners-up, will face Michael Cheika’s Leicester Tigers this Saturday at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham (kick-off 3pm) for the title of England’s top club side. The match will be broadcast live on TNT Sports, which has secured an extended agreement to air every Premiership game on its platforms through at least 2031.

This weekend marks the conclusion of a remarkable rugby season, with TNT Sports drawing record audiences for Gallagher Premiership Rugby over the past nine months. Viewership is up 10% compared to the 2023/24 season, and the broadcaster’s strategy of scheduling Premiership Rugby matches immediately after Premier League football has resulted in a 47% increase in Saturday afternoon rugby audiences compared to weeks without a Premier League lead-in.

Coverage of the final begins at 1:30pm on TNT Sports 1 and discovery+, featuring a comprehensive team of rugby experts providing in-depth analysis and commentary. The presentation lineup includes:

  • Presenter: Craig Doyle

  • Reporter: Sarra Elgan

  • Commentator: Alastair Eykyn

  • Co-commentators: Austin Healey, Ben Kay

  • Experts: Emily Scarratt, Danny Care, Ugo Monye, David Flatman

To fully capture the atmosphere at Twickenham, TNT Sports will broadcast from multiple locations around the stadium, including fan zones, the concourse, pitchside, and even on the field with live demonstrations. The broadcast will also feature exclusive access to dressing rooms and tunnel areas.

A record number of cameras will be deployed to ensure every angle is covered, and viewers will benefit from augmented reality graphics and the latest version of RefCam, which was successfully trialled during the play-offs. Additionally, players from both Bath and Leicester Tigers will wear Player Mic technology, offering fans an inside perspective on the action during this high-profile rugby final.

TNT Sports remains the dedicated broadcaster for Gallagher Premiership Rugby, with its new deal guaranteeing coverage of every match until at least 2031.
