Texas Longhorns standout quarterback and NFL legacy Arch Manning has secured a lucrative endorsement deal with energy drink powerhouse Red Bull.
Manning has officially signed a major NIL partnership with Red Bull, marking a milestone in his rise as one of college sports’ most marketable athletes. The former five-star recruit and projected 2025 season starter shared the news on Instagram, while Red Bull confirmed the collaboration with the post, “target locked, wiiings secured @archmanning.”
In an interview with ESPN’s Marty Smith, Manning expressed enthusiasm about the deal, stating, “I really like this partnership. Everyone at Red Bull has been super nice to me and my family, and I can’t wait to get it going. Plus, I like a Red Bull in the morning… We got early meetings, need a little energy.” While financial details have not been disclosed, the agreement reinforces Manning’s growing prominence.
According to On3’s NIL rankings, Manning currently boasts a $6.6 million NIL valuation, making him the top-earning college athlete across all sports—over $2 million ahead of Duke freshman forward Cooper Flagg, who sits at $4.3 million. For comparison, Manning’s uncle, Peyton Manning, earned $7.7 million from his rookie contract in 1999.
During his first two seasons at Texas, Manning saw limited playing time behind starting quarterback Quinn Ewers but showcased his potential in his appearances. Over 10 games, including two starts, he recorded 939 passing yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions while adding 108 rushing yards and four touchdowns. As he prepares to take over as Texas’ QB1, anticipation is building for the 2025 season opener against defending national champion Ohio State on August 30th.
Coming from a family of football greats, Manning carries a well-established legacy. His grandfather and uncles were star quarterbacks, while his father, Cooper Manning, was a promising athlete before an injury ended his career. These deep football roots, combined with his own five-star pedigree from the Class of 2023, have only intensified the spotlight on him.
Despite immense expectations, Manning has taken a deliberate approach to NIL opportunities. He chose to wait until securing the starting quarterback role before signing sponsorships, explaining, “I wanted to earn my money, work hard, get to know the players. Kind of earn my way up.”
