The Texas Longhorns are gaining significant traction in their pursuit of Jamarion Carlton, a highly coveted EDGE defender in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
Carlton, known for his explosive burst off the line and top-tier athleticism, has been climbing the rankings steadily. While numerous programs have pursued the four-star standout, recent signs suggest Texas is positioning itself as a leading contender.
Insiders report that the Longhorns have impressed both Carlton and his inner circle, thanks in part to defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski’s proven player development and the chance to compete early in the SEC. A recent visit to Austin reportedly exceeded expectations, giving Texas added momentum.
