Standing 6-foot-6 and weighing 235 pounds, Smith is known for his elite length, athleticism, and explosiveness off the edge. In his senior year, he tallied 89 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, and 10.5 sacks, playing a key role in Thompson’s run to the Alabama 7A state title.
