Florida State’s coaching staff features strong Nebraska connections following an offseason shakeup led by head coach Mike Norvell. Defensive coordinator Tony White, defensive line coach Terrance Knighton, safeties coach Evan Cooper, and several off-field staff members and players have ties to Nebraska, creating a deep-rooted link in Tallahassee.
Now, the Seminoles are targeting a top recruit committed to Nebraska for their #Tribe26 class.
According to On3, four-star cornerback CJ Bronaugh has scheduled an official visit to Florida State from June 13-15. He also plans to visit Florida, Nebraska, and Penn State. Bronaugh, who committed to the Cornhuskers in November, is coming off an impressive junior season, recording 30 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, a forced fumble, four pass breakups, and six interceptions—three of which he returned for touchdowns.
The 6-foot-1, 166-pound defensive back is ranked as the No. 72 overall prospect, the No. 7 cornerback, and the No. 8 player in Florida for the 2026 class, per 247Sports.
