DEPARTURE DONE DEAL: Virginia Tech Hokies Football 5-star lineman depart to LSU after transfer portal done deal

LSU has secured a significant addition to its offensive line through the transfer portal.

Braelin Moore, formerly with Virginia Tech, is transferring to LSU. Following his commitment, the Tigers announced him as a signee.

Moore will join LSU as a redshirt junior in 2025.

He began his college career at Virginia Tech in 2022, appearing in four games and taking a redshirt to preserve an additional year of NCAA eligibility, allowing him to play through the 2026 season.

As a redshirt freshman, Moore became a starter on Virginia Tech’s offensive line, helping the Hokies average 189.7 rushing yards per game, ranking No. 22 nationally.

In 2024, Moore retained his starting role, contributing to a strong rushing attack that averaged 187 yards per game and helped Virginia Tech secure bowl eligibility.

Moore brings valuable experience to an LSU offensive line in need of reinforcement. The Tigers are losing key players, including Will Campbell and Emery Jones, to the NFL Draft, while seniors Garrett Dellinger and Miles Frazier have exhausted their eligibility.
