Bradford City have made their seventh addition of the summer by signing defender Matthew Pennington.
Pennington has agreed to a two-year deal after his contract with Blackpool came to an end.
During his time at Bloomfield Road, he made 67 appearances over two seasons, netting four goals.
Manager Graham Alexander told the club’s official website that Pennington’s qualities and experience align well with their playing style, and praised his positive attitude and commitment to the team.
The Bantams are gearing up for their return to League One, their first campaign at that level since 2019, following their promotion last season.
