Texas A&M has experienced considerable roster turnover this offseason, but on Tuesday, they secured a key returning player.
In an interview with TexAgs, senior offensive lineman Trey Zuhn announced he will be back for the 2025 season, likely remaining as the team’s starting left tackle.
Zuhn has been a mainstay on the Aggies’ offensive line, starting 37 games over the past three seasons. He played every game in 2023 and 2024 and started 11 of 12 contests in 2022 as a redshirt freshman, missing just one due to injury.
A team captain this season, Zuhn played a crucial role in Texas A&M’s rushing attack, which ranked 22nd nationally in 2024. He helped the Aggies surpass 300 rushing yards in consecutive games—something they hadn’t done since 2018.
In pass protection, Zuhn was instrumental in the development of freshman quarterback Marcel Reed, who took over for Conner Weigman midseason and thrived, earning the Offensive Trenches Award at the team banquet.
Zuhn’s impact has been felt beyond just this season. He was one of only two Aggie linemen to start every game in 2023, helping the team consistently eclipse 200 rushing yards per game behind a dominant offensive front.
