Five-star safety: Florida ‘made a 5-star Commitment

Five-star safety Bralan Womack from Hartfield Academy in Flowood, Mississippi, took his highly anticipated official visit to Florida this past weekend. Ranked as the No. 12 overall player and top safety in the 2026 class, the 5-foot-11, 195-pound Womack was accompanied by his family.

With his commitment set for August 22, the key question is whether the Gators did enough during the visit to sway the elite defensive back.

Meanwhile, Florida defensive line commit Jamir Perez is planning to take an official visit to Ohio State. The 6-foot-4, 360-pound lineman from Cleveland Glenville committed to Florida following a May visit, but told 247Sports on Monday that he still intends to explore Columbus. Perez is ranked as the No. 77 defensive lineman nationally and the No. 27 overall player in Ohio for 2026.
