The Buffalo Bills handed the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season in Week 11 with a 30-21 victory. Quarterback Josh Allen threw for 262 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while also leading the team in rushing with 12 carries for 55 yards, including a key 26-yard touchdown run on 4th and 2 late in the fourth quarter that put the Bills ahead by two scores. Buffalo’s defense was also stellar, especially in limiting Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Mahomes’ top target. Kelce, usually dominant against Buffalo, was held to just two catches for eight yards.
Although Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was not at the game on November 17, she still faced criticism from fans due to the heated rivalry between the two teams. Sports analyst Adam Lefkoe shared that Swift was taken aback by the intensity of Bills Mafia during the AFC Divisional Playoff in January. Meanwhile, Allen’s sister, Makenna, who had attended Swift’s concert in Toronto two days before the game, expressed her excitement on Instagram, saying, “From Taylor Swift on Friday to a Bills win on Sunday – This weekend hit all the right notes! #GoBills.” Allen’s other sister, Nicala, and their mom, LaVonne, also showed their support in the post’s comments.
Despite the Swift fan presence at Highmark Stadium, Ryleigh Spector, the wife of Bills linebacker Baylon Spector, made her stance clear on Instagram, stating, “9-2! never a Swiftie.”
Swift has only attended Chiefs games at Arrowhead Stadium this season, likely due to security concerns after terrorist threats forced her to cancel shows in Vienna in August. She has since preferred attending games where robust security measures are already in place.
