Dabo Swinney and Clemson football appear to be on the verge of securing another addition to their 2026 recruiting class.
Clemson currently boasts the No. 3 recruiting class in the nation with 13 commitments, and Friday could see them jump back up to the No. 2 spot.
That’s right — all eyes are on a potential commitment.
Five-star wide receiver, out of North Carolina, has announced his decision will be revealed live on Friday, April 18 at 12 p.m. ET. Clemson is among his finalists, along with South Carolina, Michigan, and Notre Dame — though the Tigers are widely seen as the frontrunner.
Sellars has been trending toward Clemson for a while, and his recent visit likely strengthened their chances. Watching Clemson’s spring game, where standout Tristan Smith made waves, probably gave Sellars a glimpse of the kind of future he could have in one of the top receiving units in the country. Clemson’s strong track record of developing NFL-caliber receivers certainly doesn’t hurt either.
Ranked No. 207 overall and the No. 31 wide receiver in the 2026 class by 247Sports, Sellars holds nearly 30 offers. At 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, he has the size and athleticism to be the next star in Clemson’s receiving corps.
It’s looking like Swinney has found his guy — and we could see the 2026 class grow by one more very soon. Commit watch is officially on.
