Three-star wide receiver Kai Meza from Utah’s 2026 class has set an unofficial visit with the Minnesota Golden Gophers for April 11, per 247Sports recruiting analyst Blair Angulo.
Meza, who stands 6 feet tall and weighs 175 pounds, is ranked as Utah’s 14th-best prospect by 247Sports. Before heading to Minnesota, he will visit UCLA on March 1 and Cal on March 14.
He began his high school career at Mountain Ridge before transferring to Corner Canyon, where he had a breakout junior season. In 2024, he recorded 57 catches for 1,131 yards and 10 touchdowns, boosting his status in recruiting rankings.
Angulo also noted that Meza impressed at the recent Battle 7-on-7 event in Las Vegas. He has received offers from several programs, including Boise State, Oklahoma State, and Utah, with Minnesota extending its offer last October.
