Leeds United Finalize Transfer Deal Involving Tottenham

Leeds United are already setting their sights on the January transfer window as Daniel Farke’s side aim to build on what was an eventful summer of business.

After a busy off-season that saw ten new arrivals join Elland Road for a combined fee of around £100 million, including Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, and Gabriel Gudmundsson, the club’s recruitment team is now preparing for the next phase.

Reports suggest Leeds will prioritize signing a winger and another striker in January to strengthen their attack and solidify their position in the Premier League, ensuring their return to the top flight lasts beyond a single campaign.

At the same time, the club is determined to keep hold of key players and rising stars, with 17-year-old forward Harry Gray high on that list. The promising youngster has been in excellent form for the youth sides and made his senior debut last season, coming off the bench in a 6–0 win over Stoke City. He was also named among the substitutes in the 3–1 victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers last month and is expected to push for more first-team opportunities later this season.

However, Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in reuniting Harry with his older brother Archie Gray, who joined Spurs in the summer. According to Sky Sports reporter Rob Jones, Leeds remain confident of securing Harry’s long-term future:

“Leeds United remain hopeful that Harry Gray will soon sign his first professional contract, despite reports linking him with Tottenham, who are keen on reuniting him with his brother in north London,” Jones said on the Premier League Show.

When asked recently about the brothers, manager Daniel Farke praised Archie’s maturity but cautioned against direct comparisons:

“Archie’s development and maturity make him a role model for every young player,” Farke said. “But Harry plays a different position and needs different qualities — a bit of natural arrogance and self-belief. He’s still developing and finding his own way.”
