MASSIVE DEAL JUST NOW: Red Sox Land another Top Spot For 10-Time Gold Glove Winner who is greater than Nolan Arenado

The Boston Red Sox are likely to remain linked to St. Louis Cardinals star Nolan Arenado until he is eventually traded. The ongoing speculation makes the conversation unavoidable, and Arenado would be an excellent addition for Boston under the right circumstances. He would provide the much-needed right-handed bat for the lineup and significantly bolster the team’s defense, an area that has been a persistent weakness for the Red Sox in recent years.

Arenado, a 10-time Gold Glove Award winner, could be the key to pushing the team into playoff contention for the 2025 season. Bleacher Report’s Joel Reuter recently listed the Red Sox as the top potential landing spot for Arenado, which comes as no surprise.

“Earlier this week, Katie Woo of The Athletic wrote: ‘Multiple league sources indicate the Red Sox represent Arenado’s last chance to get dealt before the 2025 season,’” Reuter noted. “While the market could still shift as free agency unfolds, this makes Boston the clear No. 1 option for now.”

For the Red Sox to acquire Arenado, they might need to convince Rafael Devers to move to designated hitter or explore trading Triston Casas for pitching help, allowing Casas’ spot at first base to be filled. It seems the team is one major move away from completing its offseason.

There have been rumors of mutual interest between Arenado and Boston, and if the Red Sox don’t sign Alex Bregman, Arenado could become the obvious target for the team.
