Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has completed a loan move to Caykur Rizespor, with the deal now officially confirmed after reports first surfaced via Transfermarkt. The 22-year-old passed his medical and signed a season-long agreement that runs until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
There is no option to buy included, with Palace only sanctioning a straight loan for the highly-rated forward. Rak-Sakyi had interest from several Championship clubs this summer, but no deal was finalised before the English window closed. With the Turkish deadline running until September 12, he instead opted for a switch abroad.
In moving to Türkiye, Rak-Sakyi follows in the footsteps of Yannick Bolasie and Jonjo Shelvey, who both had spells at Rizespor. Palace remain keen to keep hold of the England U21 international, especially after rejecting an offer from Leeds United last year. His current contract runs until 2027, meaning the club will review his future again next summer.
This marks the third loan of Rak-Sakyi’s career. He previously shone at Charlton Athletic, where he scored 15 goals and was named Player of the Year, before spells at Sheffield United and with Palace’s first team. Now, he’ll look to make his mark in the Süper Lig.
