ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — After securing back-to-back NFL Rookie of the Week honors, Bo Nix has been nominated again for Week 12.
This marks the seventh nomination of the season for the Broncos’ rookie quarterback, who earned the recognition after an impressive outing against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Nix previously won the award for standout performances in Week 10 against the Kansas City Chiefs and Week 11 against the Atlanta Falcons.
In the Broncos’ 29-19 victory, Nix completed 25 of 42 passes for 273 yards, two touchdowns, and posted a 94.6 passer rating. He now leads all rookie quarterbacks with five games this season featuring at least 200 passing yards, two or more passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.
Nix also joined an elite group of quarterbacks on Sunday, becoming just the fifth in the past decade to tally 20+ total touchdowns and two or fewer turnovers over a 10-game span within a season. The exclusive list includes Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes. Additionally, Nix matched a Broncos milestone, joining Peyton Manning as the only quarterbacks since 1970 to throw eight or more touchdowns over three games without an interception.
In the Week 12 Rookie of the Week race, Nix faces competition from Washington’s Jayden Daniels, Chicago’s Caleb Williams, Tampa Bay’s Bucky Irving, Miami’s Chop Robinson, and Tennessee’s Jarvis Brownlee Jr.
