SHOCKER IN GREEN BAY: Packers Defensive Star Jumps Ship — Signs $4M Deal With Ravens in Last-Minute Stunner!

Jaire Alexander, once a cornerstone of the Green Bay Packers’ defense, has officially landed with a new team. After being released earlier this offseason, the two-time Pro Bowler inked a one-year deal worth $4 million with the Baltimore Ravens.

While questions remain about his durability and whether he can consistently contribute to Baltimore’s secondary, Alexander appears to be settling in quickly — and enjoying himself along the way.

Despite the move, Alexander still speaks fondly of his time in Wisconsin.

“I built some lasting relationships in Green Bay. I’ve got nothing but love for that city,” Alexander told Zach Kruse of Packers Wire. “But now I’m focused on moving forward and seeing how far I can go here.”

Alexander was spotted celebrating with Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson after a highlight-reel touchdown run during training camp this week — even though it came at the expense of the defense. The moment carried extra meaning, as Jackson and Alexander were college teammates at Louisville.

Fortunately for Alexander and the rest of Baltimore’s secondary, they won’t have to worry about stopping Jackson once the regular season kicks off.
