Following the conclusion of their season, several standout players announced their intentions to enter the 2025 NFL Draft, including tight end Gunnar Helm, who decided to leave Texas after four years. After redshirting as a freshman, Helm began his collegiate career in 2022 with five catches for 44 yards. Over three active seasons, he amassed 1,022 receiving yards, nine touchdowns, and 79 receptions, with the bulk of his contributions coming during the 2024 season. Other Texas players who have declared for the 2025 NFL Draft include Quinn Ewers, Kelvin Banks, Cameron Williams, Matthew Golden, Isaiah Bond, Vernon Broughton, and Jaydon Blue.
