Despite their consistent playoff appearances, the Ravens have yet to reach the Super Bowl during Jackson’s tenure. Their closest effort came in the 2023 AFC Championship Game, a 17-10 loss to the eventual champion Kansas City Chiefs at M\&T Bank Stadium.

Hopkins recently shared his thoughts with Ravens insider Jamison Hensley about the move to Baltimore and his potential impact.

“It feels like something’s been missing here,” Hopkins said. “Maybe I’m that missing piece — maybe not. We’ll see.”

He also expressed confidence in building on-field chemistry with Jackson, noting that both are experienced enough to make it work over time.

“There’s no exact timeline,” Hopkins explained. “Lamar’s a veteran QB, and I’ve been playing this game for a long time too. Everyone connects at a different pace. I’ve had rookie quarterbacks who took longer. It varies.”

Jackson, for his part, is excited to have Hopkins on board.

“He’s different,” Jackson said. “The way he caught the ball and got up without even needing his other hand — that’s real veteran stuff. It’s awesome having him here, and I’m looking forward to throwing him a bunch of touchdowns this season.”
