
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese made a significant impact on the WNBA in 2024. Both rookies earned All-Star honors in their debut season and are now preparing for the next chapter of their careers. Reese plans to participate in the Unrivaled League during the offseason, while Clark has opted to step away from basketball until the 2025 season begins. The WNBA recently announced that Clark and Reese will face off in their sophomore season opener in 2025. The two stars are set to meet five times throughout the season on the following dates:
- May 17: Sky at Fever
- June 7: Fever at Sky
- July 26: Fever at Sky
- August 9: Sky at Fever
- September 5: Sky at Fever
In their rookie matchups during the 2024 season, Clark’s Fever won the season series 3-1.
Statistically, Clark led all rookies in scoring and topped the league in assists, averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game. Meanwhile, Reese averaged a double-double with 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, leading the league in rebounding among all players.
