The Miami Dolphins are working to reenter the AFC playoff race, having built a two-game win streak with victories over the Los Angeles Rams and Las Vegas Raiders.
During this stretch, their defense has been outstanding, with contributions from both veteran players and younger talent. Ramsey’s impact was clear in their 34-19 win against the Raiders, where he recorded five tackles, two passes defended, and an interception. Looking ahead to next season, CBS Sports’ Chris Trapasso suggests the Dolphins could pair Ramsey with Michigan’s Will Johnson, selecting him with the 12th overall pick.
Johnson, regarded as one of the top cornerback prospects in the draft behind Colorado’s Travis Hunter, has recorded three passes defended and two interceptions this season, both of which he returned for touchdowns. His size and athleticism make him a formidable match for the league’s top receivers. At just 30 years old and signed through 2028, Ramsey could form an elite cornerback duo with Johnson, creating a major challenge for opposing offenses.
